The snow is finally beginning to recede. Hopefully, the small buds of the daffodils and tulips will start to peek their little heads through the soil soon. I am excited but scared to see how many of the new plantings from last year survived the winter.
I have begun to search through each new garden catalog looking for beautiful plants to add to our gardens. The selection is outstanding. I have good intentions of trying to start the Cutting Garden this year but the soil needs lots of additional conditioning and nutrients. It will be a labor of love and require lots of time.
We have been to market and found some wonderful new items. We will be carrying the beautiful art of Debbie Zimmerman as well as some new pieces from our previously featured artists.
We are anxiously awaiting our 2009 opening on May 22nd. Please come and join us to celebrate our second season. The shop hours will be Wednesday through Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm, and Sunday, 11 am to 4 pm.
Enjoy some of the pictures from last fall and come explore the Dragonfly Gallery and Gardens soon!
Warmest wishes, Susie and Roger Kemman
